As a proud second-generation family-owned business, we combine personalised service, experienced craftsmanship and custom manufacturing to create kitchens designed around you, your home and your lifestyle.
Our eight-step kitchen process
Let’s talk about your ideas
The first step is to get in touch or visit our showroom to discuss your project.
You’re welcome to bring along your existing house plans, kitchen plans or your own measurements. If you’re renovating, a few photos of your existing kitchen can also be a great help.
Alternatively, we can arrange an in-home consultation to discuss your ideas, requirements and how you’d like your new kitchen to work for you.
Custom design and quote
We’ll develop a custom kitchen design and quote tailored to your space, requirements and budget.
We’ll work with you to create a layout that makes the most of your available space while considering functionality, storage and the overall look you want to achieve.
Once you’re happy with the proposed design and quote, we can move on to selecting your finishes and finalising the details.
Choose your colours, finishes and hardware
This is where your ideas really start to come to life!
We’ll help you explore our range of cabinetry colours, materials, finishes, benchtops, handles and hardware to create a kitchen that complements your home and suits your lifestyle.
Our team can talk you through the available options and help you find the right balance of style, quality and budget.
Final site measure and confirmation
Once your quote has been accepted and the design is approved, we’ll arrange a final site measure when the building work has progressed sufficiently.
This allows us to confirm the critical dimensions and site conditions before manufacturing begins, helping ensure your new cabinetry is made to fit your space accurately.
Plan the timing
We’ll work with you to coordinate the manufacturing, delivery and installation schedule around your building or renovation programme.
If your project involves other trades, we’ll help you understand the key stages and when each part of the process needs to happen.
Our goal is to make the process as organised and straightforward as possible.
Custom manufacturing in our factory
Your kitchen is then manufactured in our own factory by our experienced cabinet-making team.
Every kitchen is custom-made to suit the approved design, with care taken over the workmanship, materials and finishing details.
As a family-owned business with decades of experience, we take pride in producing quality cabinetry built around your requirements.
Factory viewing, delivery and installation
Once manufacturing is complete, we fully assemble your kitchen in our factory so you can view your custom cabinetry before delivery.
Your delivery and installation dates will be coordinated with our installers, helping ensure everything is ready for the next stage of your project.
Where stone benchtops are included, these are generally templated after the cabinetry has been installed, before the benchtop is manufactured and fitted.
Enjoy your new kitchen for years to come!
The result is a beautifully crafted, custom-made kitchen designed around you and your family.
As a proud second-generation family-owned business, we stand behind the quality of our workmanship and products with our 10-year warranty.
At The Kitchen Centre, we’re passionate about creating kitchens where family and friends can come together, share good times and make memories for years to come.
